Harrisdale Senior High School is a co-educational secondary school for students in Year 7 – 10. 

Located on 1 Laverton Crescent, Harrisdale, the school is a 10-minute drive north from Mahala. Students can also travel to and from the school via bus Route 519, which stops on Armadale Road.

The school offers various academic programs, with a Gifted and Talented Program commencing in 2022.

Cecil Andrews College

Cecil Andrews College is a private co-educational secondary school for students in Year 7 – 12. 

Located at 39 Seville Drive, Seville Grove, Cecil Andrews College is a quick 7-minute drive east of Mahala. Students can take the 519 bus route directly down Armadale Road, with just a 10-minute walk to the school’s front gate.

Carey Baptist College

Carey Baptist College is an independent co-educational school with two campuses in Harrisdale (teaching K – Year 12) and Forrestdale (teaching K – Year 9). Both campuses are just a short drive away from Mahala.
